The ProLux PXC-612I6W-EP is a Dome eyeball camera with a 6 Megapixel (6MP) STARVIS™ CMOS image sensor. It comes with a built-in mic and STARVIS colour night vision (IR up to 50m).

This Eyeball Dome camera comes with the latest STARVIS CMOS sensor, designed to provide the sharpest and most colour accurate images in the network market. With a built-in microphone, you’ll not only be capturing the video around/in your property, but you’ll also be able to record audio. With Audio over coax on compatible DVRs, you don’t even need any extra wiring either. Combined with the network output mode, the image clarity is second to none.

Colour Night Vision & Infrared Technology

With the world leading STARVIS sensor, the Prolux PXC-612I6W-EP is able to produce a clear coloured night vision image with enough ambient lighting.

This Dome camera comes with EXIR infrared array technology with up to 50m Smart IR illumination with a minimum illumination of 0.01 LUX. As a result, it provides industry-leading illumination in any low or zero-light environment.

Benefiting from an advanced, highly efficient light source that provides up to 30% more illumination efficiency compared to other LEDs and is, therefore, a revolutionary lens for uniform scene illumination and seamless HD formatting.

CCTV Lens Guide

Unless selecting a vari-focal camera (with an adjustable lens) It is important to select the correct camera lens option for where the camera is to be positioned. A smaller lens will give you a wider angle but will be “zoomed out more”, while a bigger lens will narrow the angle down and “zoom in more”. See below to give you some idea on angles of Megapixel HD Cameras:
