This PXC-612C2W-A-POC Eyeball Dome camera comes with the latest CMOS sensor, designed to provide the sharpest and most colour accurate images on the 2MP market. With a built-in microphone, you’ll not only be capturing the video around/in your property, but you’ll also be able to record audio. With Audio over coax on compatible DVRs, you don’t even need any extra wiring either. Combined with the HD-CVI output mode, the image clarity is second to none.

Starlight POC power over Coax technology

With the world-leading Starlight technology for night vision, this Prolux PXC-612C2W-A-POC camera is able to produce a night vision recording over coax cable with no power cable.

HDCVI technology supports 4 signals to be transmitted over 1 coaxial cable simultaneously, i.e. video, audio* and power. Dual-way data transmission allows the HDCVI camera to interact with the XVR, such as sending a control signal or triggering an alarm. Moreover, HDCVI technology supports PoC for construction flexibility.

HDCVI technology guarantees real-time transmission at long distance without any loss. It supports up to 800m(1080P)/1200m(720P) transmission via coaxial cable, and up to 300m(1080P)/450m(720P) via UTP cable.*

This Prolux PXC-612C2W-A-POC Dome camera comes with infrared array technology with up to 40m (131ft) Smart IR illumination with a minimum illumination of 0.001Lux/F1.0. As a result, it provides industry-leading illumination in any low or zero-light environment.

Benefiting from an advanced, highly efficient light source that provides up to 100% more illumination efficiency compared to other LEDs and is, therefore, a revolutionary rectangular lens for uniform scene illumination and seamless HD formatting.

What lens type is best for you

Unless selecting a vari-focal camera (with an adjustable lens) It is important to select the correct camera lens option for where the camera is to be positioned. A smaller lens will give you a wider angle but will be “zoomed out more”, while a bigger lens will narrow the angle down and “zoom in more”. See below to give you some idea on angles of Megapixel HD Cameras:
