CMOS sensor & HD-CVI output

This DH-HAC-HDW1239TP(-A)-LED Eyeball Dome camera comes with the latest CMOS sensor, designed to provide the sharpest and most colour accurate images on the market. Audio is also captured with a built-in microphone, so you’ll not only be capturing the video around/in your property, but you’ll also be able to record sound. With Audio over coax on compatible DVRs, you don’t even need any extra wiring either. Combined with the HD-CVI output mode, the image clarity is second to none.

Full-color Starlight

First of all, the camera adopts F1.6 large aperture lens and a 1/2.8″ high-performance sensor. With a higher amount of absorbed light and advanced image processing algorithm,  the camera presents an impressive lowlight performance with an exceptional balance between noise reduction and the blur of moving objects.

Warm Supplemental lights

With two warm supplemental LED lights, the camera is able to provide a colourful and vivid image even in total darkness. It also provides visible By default, the camera is set to smart light mode, in which the camera can automatically adjust the exposure time and light sensitivity simultaneously to avoid overexposure of the objects in the images centre. Also, the sensitivity and intensity of the LED lights can be remotely controlled by the OSD menu.

Broadcast-quality Audio

Audio information is used as supplementary evidence in video surveillance applications. The HDCVI camera supports audio signal transmission over coaxial cable. In addition, it adopts unique audio processing and transmission technology that best restores source audio and eliminates noise, guaranteeing the quality and effectiveness of collected audio information.

Infrared Technology

The DH-HAC-HDW1239TP(-A)-LED benefits from an advanced, highly efficient light source that provides up to 30% more illumination efficiency compared to other LEDs and is, therefore, a revolutionary rectangular lens for uniform scene illumination and seamless HD formatting. Certainly, EXIR cameras deliver the most advanced levels of night-time surveillance available on the market today.

With an IP67 rating, you don’t need to worry about dust or water damage to the DH-HAC-HDW1239TP(-A)-LED camera, combined with a full aluminium body, these cameras are designed to last many years. The unit can be dropped into a body of water up to a meter deep for half an hour with no damage.

CCTV Lens Guide

Unless selecting a vari-focal camera (with an adjustable lens) It is important to select the correct camera lens option for where the camera is to be positioned. A smaller lens will give you a wider angle but will be “zoomed out more”, while a bigger lens will narrow the angle down and “zoom in more”. See below to give you some idea on angles of Megapixel HD Cameras:

Lens in mm Approx Viewing Angle (degrees) Ideal Distance (metres) Typical usage/notes
2.8 106 <6 For seeing as much of the immediate area as possible such as above a doorway/low down/garage soffits (edges can appear slightly warped/distorted) – clearly “zoomed out”
3.6/4 83-90 <12 A great general purpose option giving great coverage still in the corner of a room or higher up on second floor soffits with less distortion – more of a natural “zoom”
6 56 6-20 Narrows down the angle and zooms in to look past the immediate area a little to gain more detail – down a driveway for example from higher up
12 24 20+ Zooms in significantly more to look at a gate, entrance or adjascent building
16 19 24+ As above but more so
